Solid State III (Magnetism).
This course will
begin with the well established subjects (formation
of magnetic moments, ferromagnetism of insulator and metals, etc) and proceed
to a modern subject of spin decoherence, quantum
fluctuations in frustrated magnets, strongly disordered magnets (spin glasses) .
Time and
place: Monday and Wednesday 3:20-4:40 Serin 401W.
