    Run Summary for 152Gd
    Date  Runs  Beam  Energy
    Feb94 1 - 32  Ni  194 MeV
    May94 33 - 83  Ni  180 MeV
    Jul94 91 - 112  Ni  230 MeV
    Aug94 113 - 130  Ni  214 MeV
    Jan95 134 - 193  Ni  211 MeV
    Mar96 197 - 233  100 MeV

The data were analyzed and are the basis for the thesis of Nicole Matt (Oct.97).
The results were published in Phys.Rev.C 59(1999)665.
No attempt was made to analyze other Gd isotopes contained in the data.

    Projectile Excitation Experiments

Beams of mono isotopic projectiles are excited on "light" target nuclei. The forward scattered target nuclei are detected in a zero degree particle detector while the beam is stopped in the backing of the target. Under this so-called inverse kinematic condition all particles are moving forward in the lab system. Advantage: high coincidence rates for projectile deexcitation and target nuclei, one target for many isotopes.

    1. Apr98 Runs 1 - 9. (not converted)
No tape, all data transferred via ftp.
    2. Dec02 Attenuation test for projectiles recoiling into vacuum
The results show some loss of sensitivity but a TF experiment can be done.

Transient field experiments with radioactive 132Te were carried out at Oak Ridge National Lab..
