Added since Dec. 2014 an introduction to Transient Field experiments
"Nuclear Magnetic Moments; Guide to transient field experiments" This is a PDF copy of an Ebook. It also can be downloaded as iBook version.
The Rutgers FN Tandem was shutdown 1989, and was reincarnated as ANTARES
by the ANSTO in Lucas Heigths, Sydney, Australia.
Low Energy Nuclear Physics Experiments were performed for many years at the former Wright Nuclear Structure Lab. at Yale University
and the 88" Cyclotron at the LBNL in Berkeley.
At the end of 2003 the cyclotron was closed as DOE user facility.
Unfortunately, June, 24. 2011 was the last day of the operation of the YALE tandem acellerator.
Our last Radioactive Beam experiments at the Holifield Radioactive Ion Beam Facility at Oak Ridge National Laboratory was in Aug.2011.
This facility too ceased operations for external users April, 15. 2012.In Jan. 2013 the experimental setup from Yale was moved to the cyclotron facility at Texas A&M University.
In Apr. 2015 one more experiment was performed at the Berkeley Cyclotron.
