During the summers of 2013 through 2018, the Department of Physics and
Astronomy at Rutgers University hosted a Research Experiences for
Undergraduates (REU) program that was funded by the Divisions of
Physics,
Astronomical
Sciences, and (in 2016-18)
Materials
Research at the National
Science Foundation. Information about the 53 previous REU participants and
their projects can be found under the "History" tab above. Because the REU
site is not continuing after 2018, students from other institutions who are
interested in research opportunities at Rutgers are encouraged to consider
applying to the Research
Intensive Summer Experience (RISE) program.
Current Rutgers students are
invited to explore the opportunities for research that are uniquely available
to our undergraduates via the Aresty Research Center.
