Mixing

Mixing is the property

Loosely speaking mixing means that points that are initially close in phase space eventually disperse into a homogeneous distribution throughout phase space.

In particular

i.e (A)= 0 or (A)= 1, i.e mixing implies ergodicity.

Both invertible and non-invertible systems may be mixing.

Entropy is constant and determined by initial conditions. Related to independence.
