# Z_{2}-package (z2pack)

## Postprocessing tool for computing the Z_{2} invariant

using the output of first-principles packages.

The package is a Fortran/Python implementation of the method described in *Phys. Rev. B ***83**, 235401 (2011) to compute the Z_{2} topological indices of 2D and 3D time-reversal symmetric insulators. The output (spinor wavefunctions) of some first-principles codes is taken as an input for the calculation.
