This the home page for dissemination of information to Chairs (and other senior members) of US University Astronomy Departments. The principal regular event is the biennial meeting of Astronomy Department Chairs that is facilitated by the American Astronomical Society. It is an all-day event.
For examples of assessments of degree programs, curricula, etc. see plans, which were collected by Neal Evans of University of Texas after the 2008 meeting.

The ninth AAS Astronomy Chairs Meeting was held on Saturday November 1, 2014 at the Chicago O'Hare Hilton.
The eighth AAS Astronomy Chairs Meeting was held on Saturday November 3, 2012 at the Chicago O'Hare Hilton.
