My material will be in my posted lecture notes, which are based originally on Jones, Joshi, and Georgi. See the Syllabus and Lecture Notes for details. Of course, there are many other useful books which give alternate presentations or treat subjects in more depth. A list of some of them is here

Homework: There will normally be a homework assignment each week. Late homeworks will not be accepted without special permission, generally requested in advance. Homeworks will be graded and will be the major part (perhaps all) of your final grade.

Exams: The midterm exam will be on March 7. Probably you will be allowed your notes, my notes, and up to two textbooks. Computers may be used only to access my lecture notes if you don't have paper copies. This is subject to prior discussion in class.

Class Times: The class meets in ARC 203, Tuesdays and Fridays, third period. (12:00-1:20 PM).

Classes will start promptly, so please come on time.
