The Short-Baseline Neutrino Program: LArTPCs as Tools for Discovery

Abstract 
The Short-Baseline Neutrino (SBN) Program at Fermilab will address long-standing anomalies hinting at eV-scale sterile neutrinos, 
using a series of liquid argon time projection chambers (LArTPCs) in a muon neutrino beam to search for flavor appearance and disappearance 
at three baselines. To enable this measurement, we are pioneering the LArTPC technology along with novel event reconstruction techniques and 
the detailed modeling of systematic uncertainties. These advances, together with our suite of precision neutrino-argon cross section measurements, 
also provide key inputs to the DUNE program's search for neutrino CP violation at long baselines. I will present the current status of the SBN program, 
highlighting recent results from MicroBooNE, and discuss how these measurements fit into and enable our long-term oscillation physics program with LArTPCs.
