**Mathematical Applications**

Rutgers has university-wide site licenses for both Mathematica and Maple. To download either, go to the RU software portal at software.rutgers.edu, login via NetID and click on 'Mathematical Applications'.

Also available is the 'sage' open-source mathematics software suite, downloadable for Windows/Linux/MacOS at www.sagemath.org/download.html.

**TeX/LaTeX**

LaTeX is the de facto standard for the communication and publication of scientific documents. LaTeX is available as free software from www.latex-project.prg. Other TeX/LaTeX web pages of note:
