Practice Problems for Exam 1: Chapters 21-25

This is a list of suggested practice problems in addition to homework exercises. All numbers below refer to problems in Halliday, Resnick and Walker, 10th edition. Q refers to the Questions section. * designates a challenge problem. The answers to all odd-numbered problems can be found in the back of the book, for you to check your work.

WORKING ON THESE PROBLEMS IS A GREAT WAY TO DEVELOP YOUR FORMULA SHEET FOR THE EXAM (single sided 8.5"x11"). If you look up any equations or other information, write it on the sheet so that by the end, you can work all the problems without looking at the book.  Note that the values of fundamental constants and conversions will be provided on the exam.
