Hey there my dear Pop,

 

So, it's the latter part of fathers day, and i've tryed calling you a bunch all day, and the phone has been busy, and so this email will have to do i'm afread.

 

Well, this is the first fathers day with me an "adult."  Thanks for having me Pop.  There will be many mentors in my life, and I will appreciate them all, but there can never be a replacment for a good Dad.  There can never be anything that comes close.  thank you for raising me, for changing my diapers, for taking me on walks every day when we lived at brierwood drive, for teaching me about politics on long car rides, for taking me to hawaii, for teaching me to read, for acepting new ways I chose to live my life, and for giving me a sense of wonder about the world.  I will be forever greatful.  you did a great job Pop, I love you
