"Emerging Jets signatures of a composite Dark Sector in the CMS detector and other long-lived states"

Many extensions of the standard model (including SUSY) predict new particles with long lifetimes, such that the position of 
their decay is measurably displaced from their production vertex, and particles that give rise to other non-conventional signatures. 
This talk presents recent results of searches for long-lived particles and other non-conventional signatures obtained using data recorded 
by the CMS experiment at Run-II of the LHC. I will particularly focus on a model of dark-QCD with a peculiar signature consisting of emerging jets.
