Title: Constructing sensitive and robust collider observables with machine learning
Abstract: I will discuss some concluded and ongoing work on constructing, using machine learning, sensitive low-dimensional variables for use in collider data analyses. I will also briefly discuss the robustness offered by the technique against unknown and unquantified errors in the simulation models.
