Additional dimensions pose an opportunity for addressing many of the difficult questions of four-dimensional particle physics. We discuss the physics of extra dimensions and its implicatons for the observable world. We show how interesting gravitational backgrounds can lead to novel and exciting effects. Perhaps the most surpising is that all existing tests of gravity can be consistent with additional infinitely large extra dimensions.
