The controller is connected to the PC by a commercial Digital I/O card
called a PCL-720, from PC-LabCards of Advantech Co., Ltd.
This is connected by three 20 conductor ribbon cables to
the controller. It provides the 24 output signals and 8 input signals
to the PC.
