Beam Test Tracking Telescope

The Rutgers test beam tracking telescope consists alternating X and Y silicon micro-strip planes (4 each X and Y). A VA2 frontend readout is used to read strip planes. Silicon planes we used were of 50 micron pitch, with an intermediate strip. This allowed to obtain a better than digital resolution resulting less than 2 micron track extrapolation accuracy in the middle of the detector. This tracking telescope have been used in measuring CVD diamond pixel detectors as well as Si pixel sensors developed for the CMS forward pixel detector.

Among my contribution to the tracking telescope are :

A mounted Si hybrid board I designed, Si strip planes are read by two VA2 chips.
