< CMS pixel readout work
I have been involved in the CMS pixel project at Rutgers. In addition to test CMS forward pixel chips at the test beam I have contributed to:
- Conversion of the Token Bit Manager (TBM) chip to radiation hard 0.25 micron technology. I laid out a significant (~50%) part of the chip using CADENCE.
- Laid out numerous printed circuit boards for the testing of the TBM
- Programmed the first version of FPGA-TBM (for Xilinx FPGA).
- Built an alignment system to mount high density FPGA ICs on circuit boards.
