Low Energy Nuclear Physics Experiments have been performed for many years at the Wright Nuclear Structure Lab. at Yale University
and the 88" Cyclotron at the LBNL in Berkeley.
At the end of 2003 the cyclotron was closed as DOE user facility. No further experiments could be performed.
Unfortunately, June, 24. 2011 was the last day of the operation of the YALE tandem acellerator.
Our last Radioactive Beam experiments at the Holifield Radioactive Ion Beam Facility at Oak Ridge National Laboratory was in Aug.2011.
This facility too ceased operations April, 15. 2012.In Jan. 2013 the experimental setup from Yale was moved to the cyclotron facility at Texas A&M University.
