Formation and Early Evolution of Globular Clusters

In my talk I will present the results of our recent projects testing different ideas on the origin of globular clusters. In one of the projects, we used high-resolution N-body simulations to show that the properties of Galactic globular clusters are consistent with the assumption that they formed from gas with universal values of density and temperature. In other two projects, we used numerical simulations of globular clusters forming inside dark matter mini-halos in the early universe to show that current observations of globular clusters are consistent with this primordial picture of globular cluster formation.
