Schedule
  • Tuesday recitation sections start on Sept. 15th.
  • Wednesday recitation sections start on Sept. 9th.
  • The Friday only recitation section starts on Sept. 11th.

In the first column "L" = Lecture, "R" = Recitation, "E" = Exam, "N" = No class, "Rev" = Review, and  "TBA" = "To Be Announced."

LECTURES: Please complete the assigned reading before each lecture, and be sure to bring your iclicker transmitter with you to lecture. You will be quizzed on the reading at the beginning of each lecture, and you will be asked to participate interactively throughout the lecture with the iclicker.

RECITATIONS: In the recitations, material from the previous two lectures will be discussed, and a quiz given on this material. The material discussed is covered by the homework due the following Monday, as described in the recitation box.

HOMEWORK: The online Mastering Physics homework assignments are given in the box for the corresponding recitation. The deadlines for completion of the homework are rigidly enforced by the online system.

EXAMS: The exams are common exams for the two lectures. Note that the hour exams during the semester are given in the late evening (NOT in class). Please check the dates and times and rooms carefully!
