``The Cosmic Infrared Background''

The cosmic infrared background is what remains after Olbers' Paradox is resolved. If the brightness of the sky due to the superimposed light from distant stars and galaxies is not infinite or equal to the brightness of the Sun, what is it after all? That is the question I will try to answer, both observationally and theoretically.
