(1) What causes the light from distant galaxies to be redshifted?  Try
    to explain the redshift in terms of General Relativity, drawing
    analogies to curved spacetime examples presented earlier in this
    seminar.  Is it correct to consider the cosmological redshift a
    consequence of the Doppler effect?

(2) Write an essay on Dark Energy.  Relate it to the other key
    parameters of the Universe.  Describe the effect that Dark Energy
    has on the expansion of the Universe; compare and contrast its
    effect with the other key parameters. What is the relationship
    between the Cosmological Constant and Dark Energy?
