- Toys for Malamutes must be large and durable. Large because they love to eat everything and will try to eat toy, especially if it is squeaking. Result might be deadly blockage of intestines. Durable - for the same reason. Also, Malamutes (particularly puppies) are great chewers and will "dismember" any weak toy (again with possibility of danger to eat it).

- Malamutes particularly like fuzzy and squeaky toys. If they tear (and they will) some squeaky-fuzzy toy, remove the squeaker before mending it. Toy will last longer after it, they will still like it and possibility of dying from eating the squeaker will be removed.

- Malamutes, also, like balls. To chase them arround (outside or in). Most balls can't stand their jaw-power. So, get them (for now only such product known to me) "Almost Indestructable Ball" - hard plastic ball aveliable in couple of sizes from R.C.Steele catalogue and some (rare) pet-shops. That is fawourite toy of my dog.

- Provide, particularly pups, with a lot of chewable-but-not-brekable toys. They chew both for teething and when bored. If not enough toys are arround, they will try furniture!

- Finally -PLAY WITH THEM - they will love you for that.
