Statistical Mechanics

The textbook is "A Modern Course in Statistical Physics", 2nd ed., by L. E. Reichl, Wiley.

The evaluation will depend upon several homework assignments and upon one open book/notes exam at the end of the semester.

Classes are on Wednesdays (12.00 noon to 1.20 PM) and Fridays (1:40 PM to 3.00 PM) in SEC 217. The first class was on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
