I have recently completed my Ph.D. in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at
Rutgers University. My thesis, "Probing
Small-Scale Structure in Galaxies with Strong Gravitational Lensing," was
carried out under the direction of Professor
Charles R. Keeton. I
have explored how multiply-imaged quasars can be used to constrain
the distribution of stars and dark matter in lens galaxies, and I have
presented these results in numerous talks.
I will be moving in October to the Jet Propulsion Laboratory,
where I will continue my research in Astrophysics with
Leonidas Moustakas
as a NASA Postdoctoral Fellow.
In addition to working on astrophysics, I regularly attend performances by the
Philadelphia Orchestra, and I especially enjoy the music of Beethoven,
Brahms, and Shostakovich. I also spend time reading books that catch my interest,
particularly science biographies.
