Tutorial sessions are wonderful opportunities for you to get
one-on-one tutoring from an expert physicist on a whole range of
questions, uncertainties and methods of physics. There are fourteen
hours a week of free sessions in ARC 332 which I urge you to make use
of. We have scheduled them at strategic times for your maximum benefit
and convenience. They are designed to help you boost your confidence
essential for mastering and enjoying physics. It is a resource that
has proved most valuable to many hundreds of students in the past and
I urge you to make copious use of these professionals, who are ready
and eager to help.
Let us know if a shift of tutorial hours is desirable.
George Horton
Tutorial sessions will be held by the

the learning process.

Other resources at the MSLC
Besides tutorial sessions and peer mentors for this class, the
Math and Science Learning Center
provides physics tutoring, and hosts tutorial sessions for other
introductory physics classes. It also has a collection of
videotaped lectures by Prof. Horton.
Resources on other campuses
There are learning centers on the Livingston, College
Avenue, and Douglass campuses which offer group and individual
tutoring in Physics as well as other subjects. More information is
available
