Policy on Cheating

We take cheating very seriously. Cheating may result in your getting a zero on a quiz or exam, or being reported to a dean, which could result in failing the course, getting suspended from Rutgers, or even getting expelled.

The University's Policy on Academic Integrity describes the general university policy. We try to make clear what we expect, for example what you are allowed to bring to an exam. You are allowed to discuss homework with others, but you cannot have someone else do your homework for you. If you have questions about what is or is not acceptable, contact Prof. Shapiro.
