Public Observing at the Robert A. Schommer Observatory
The Department of Physics and Astronomy owns and operates a 20-inch optical telescope in a dome on the Physics and Astronomy Building (Serin Labs) on Busch Campus. Public observing sessions are held on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month (weather permitting). The dome opens at 8:00 PM, or 1 hour after sunset, whichever is later.
