Research Activities

My research bridges the fields of theoretical condensed matter physics, surface physics, and chemical physics. I am especially interested in many-body phenomena, with special emphasis on dynamical properties. Aspects where electron correlations play an important role are of the most interest. I am also interested in the fundamental aspects of electronic density functional theory, and the lingering question of how long-range interactions can be properly described.
