"ATLAS and CMS at the HL-LHC"

To further increase its discovery potential beyond 2020, the LHC will be
upgraded to deliver up to 3000/fb of proton-proton collisions. This large
dataset will allow to significantly improve the sensitivity to new physics
and to perform a comprehensive program of precision measurements in the
Higgs sector. To withstand the much harsher radiation and occupancy
conditions expected at the High-Luminosity-LHC an upgrade of the ATLAS and
CMS detectors is planned. In this talk I will review the main ideas and
compare the solutions adopted by the two collaborations.
