You are normally expected to take both the General Test and the Physics Subject Test before applying to our program.
The General Test is now given mainly by computer; the paper-based version has been discontinued in most locations around the world. Appointment dates for the computer-based test are flexible and are scheduled on a first-come first-served basis. The Subject Tests are given only in paper-based versions and only on certain test dates. For international locations, go here and scroll down until you find the link that looks like "1999-2000 Subject Test Center List".
