The quest to understand physics in the microworld:

Physics at Hadron Colliders

Yuri Gershtein, Dept Physics and Astronomy, Rutgers U.

Hadron colliders have been essential in our quest to understand the physics of the micro-world. I will talk about the recent progress of the experimental program to address one of the fundamental questions of Physics:

"what is the Nature of the Electroweak Symmetry breaking?".

I will present results from the Tevatron collider at Fermilab and prospects for the Large Hadron Collider at CERN".
