Job/Research Summary
The position is initially for one year and renewable upon mutual consent and availability of funds for up to three years. Candidates with four or more years experience beyond their Ph.D. may be considered for a Research Associate position.

Job Duties
Theoretical modeling of renewable energy materials. The work will center on the inverse design of alloys, compounds and nanostructures with prescribed electronic and optical properties and defect studies for solar-energy conversion applications.
Required Education and Experience: Must be a recent Ph.D. graduate with in the last three years.

Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. in Physics or Materials Sciences. Strong background in theoretical and/or computational condensed matter physics. Experience in electronic structure calculations is desirable. Note: Candidates with four years or more experience beyond their Ph.D. may be considered for a Research Associate position.
