I am seeking candidates for a postdoc in computational materials science at
the Materials Science and Engineering Laboratory at NIST. Please forward this
message to anyone who might be interested.

My specific interests include using first principles calculations to
generate models for temperature dependent physical properties (dielectric,
etc.), particularly for perovskite solid solutions and for alternate gate
stack materials.

Interested candidates should contact me at cockayne-at-nist.gov .

U.S. citizens can apply for an NRC postdoc. NRC/NIST postdoctoral
positions are prestigious and pay very well (in 2006, $55,700 per
year plus benefits, moving expenses and up to $5,500 for travel expenses).
Further details are available at

and

The next NRC/NIST deadline is February 1, 2007.

 Thank you,

 Eric Cockayne
