The research work will be in the studies of electronic structure and transport in magnetic materials and nanostructures with applications in spintronics, particularly at finite temperatures. Powerful computing resources are available. We are seeking highly motivated applicants with experience in computational materials science, especially involving electronic structure calculations. The initial appointment will be for one year, with a possible extension for a second year upon mutual agreement and funding availability. Candidates must have a doctoral degree in a field closely related to computational materials science. Competitive annual salary will depend on qualifications and experience.
