Dear Colleague,

I have an opening for a postdoctoral position in my group, to begin as
early as September 2006. I am asking your help to identify qualified
candidates for such position.

The post-doc will perform research in the domain of electronic and
transport properties of nanoscale structures using both analytical and
first-principles approaches. Candidates with background in transport
theory and/or density-functional methods are particularly encouraged to
apply. The position is for one year, renewable upon mutual agreement and
funds availability. The candidates should send inquiries, CV and names
of three references to diventra-at-physics.ucsd.edu

Thank you for your consideration.

Best regards,

     Massimiliano Di Ventra
