A two-year postdoctoral  position is now open at the Department of Physics and Astronomy of the University
of Padova, Italy. 
The postdoctoral researcher will work on the development of first-principles approaches 
for large scale many-body perturbation theory calculations of excitation properties.
The starting point will be the GWL code recently developed by our group.
For this  research activity  high-performance computing resources will be available involving also the use GPUs.
Previous experience with first-principles methods and with scientific  programming is required.
