Applications are sought for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position in t=
he Nano-Bio group in San Sebastian - Spain. The candidate will participate =
on the theoretical investigation of novel thermoelectric materials in stron=
g collaboration with different experimental groups based in Spain. The succ=
essful candidate will work under the direct supervision of Prof. Roberto D=
=92Agosta in the active environment of the group lead by Prof. Angel Rubio.=

The post is supported by the project =93NANOTherm=94 financed by the Spanis=
h Minister of Science and Education via the CONSOLIDER program.=20

As a candidate, you hold or be about to submit a Ph.D. in Condensed Matter =
Physics, Chemistry or Material Science. Experience with large computational=
 calculation for Materials and expertise with common programming languages =
is desirable. Proven good communication skills, ability of collaborating wi=
th both senior and junior scientists, and excellence in independent researc=
h, are fundamental for the success of the applicant.

The group, www.nano-bio.es, activities are focused on the field of theory a=
nd modelling of electronic and structural properties in condensed matter an=
d on developing novel theoretical tools and computational codes to investig=
ate the electronic response of solids and nanostructures to external electr=
omagnetic fields.=20

You will be given the possibility to work in international environment inte=
racting with many scientists, both permanent and visiting, who actively wor=
k in the Nano-Bio group and in the lively scientific community of San Sebas=
tian.

Fixed term contract of 24 months. The position should start as soon as poss=
ible.
