A post-doctoral position is available immediately, focused on modeling meta=
l alloys at various length scales. The project will involve close collabora=
tion with faculty in engineering, chemistry, and physics. The successful ap=
plicant will have a strong background in both ab initio and finite element =
modeling, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work with a ve=
ry diverse team of academic and industrial collaborators. Candidates are re=
quired to hold a PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science or related di=
sciplines. The salary will depend on experience and qualification. The init=
ial appointment will be for one year with the possibility of extension. Qua=
lified candidates are asked to submit their Curriculum Vitae, list of publi=
cations and the names, affiliations and email addresses of up to three refe=
