<p><strong>Project:</strong><br/>
Nano-structured junctions with molecules bound between electrodes present interesting systems for molecular electronic and thermoelectric devices. These projects will investigate inelastic electron transport and heat transport in conducting junctions with a particular focus on strategies for controlling these processes chemically.<br/>
&nbsp;<br/>
<strong>Qualifications:</strong><br/>
General: It is desirable to have experience in computational chemistry or physics, particularly experience in electron transfer/transport. Good communication skills (written and oral) in English are required.<br/>
For PhD appointment: A MSc or equivalent degree<br/>
For Postdoc appointment: A PhD<br/>
&nbsp;<br/>
<u>PhD Positions:</u> PhD employment will be for a period of 3 years. Terms of PhD employment: The position will be filled according to the agreement between the Danish Ministry of Finance and the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. The post is covered by the Protocol on Job Structure. PhD salary starts at DKK 300,175 (roughly EUR 39,700).<br/>
&nbsp;<br/>
<u>Postdoc Positions:</u> Postdoc employment will be for 2 years with the possibility of extension for an additional year. Salary and terms of Postdoc employment: Terms of appointment and payment are in accordance with the agreement between the Danish Ministry of Finance and the Danish Federation of Professional Associations (AC). Post doc salary is based on seniority and is between DKK 432,950 and DKK 449,285 (roughly between EUR 57,250 and EUR 59,000) annually before pension contribution. Negotiation for further supplement will be possible.<br/>
