<p>Postdoctoral (PD)&nbsp; positions are available in the Angstrom group led by Prof. Giulia Galli,         at the University of California, Davis (<a href="http://angstrom.ucdavis.edu/"  target="_blank" >http://angstrom.ucdavis.edu/</a>).          The group activity is focused on the development and applications  of electronic structure and quantum simulation methods.         Applications include properties of materials for energy,  materials under pressure, in particular carbon in the deep Earth, liquids and&nbsp; nanostructures.<br/>
<br/>
PD candidates should have a PhD in Physics, Chemistry or Materials Science;         a strong computational background in electronic structure and first principles simulations is preferred.</p>
