A postdoc position is available in the group of Dr. Silvia Picozzi (Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche, CNR-SPIN L'Aquila, Italy).
The research activity will be based on density-functional simulations
focused on magnetoelectric coupling
at ferroelectric/ferromagnetic interfaces. A close collaboration
with the experimental group of Prof. Riccardo Bertacco at Politecnico
di Milano is expected. Previous experience with materials modeling is required.
The grant will initially cover 12 months with a net salary of approx
1400 Euros per month. 

Due to the still problematic "post-quake"
situation in L'Aquila, the research activity will be carried out
partly at University of Chieti and partly at CNR-SPIN L'Aquila.

For bureaucratic reasons, the candidate will need to have a European citizenship. Candidates should send their CV and list of publications to silvia.picozzi-at-spin.cnr.it
