A postdoctoral position is available in the group of Craig Fennie at Cornel=
l University to explore the properties of complex oxides for electro- and p=
hoto-catalytic applications. This is a new area for my group and I am only =
looking for highly motivated candidates with a strong background in catalys=
is (background in complex oxides not required). The position is through The=
 Energy Materials Center at Cornell (EMC2), and will provide an exceptional=
 candidate a prime opportunity to work with experimentalists in developing =
their own independent research direction on a wide range of topics related =
to electro- and photo-catalysis and/or battery materials. Candidates should=
 be capable of independent work with strong communication skills, and exper=
ience in the application of first-principles density functional methods are=
 encouraged to apply by sending a CV, the names of at least two references,=
 estimated availability date, and a one-page max description (not a list) o=
