A 2 year Research Associate position in theoretical and computational chemi=
stry is currently available within the Chemistry Department at Imperial Col=
lege, London. The successful candidate will join an inter-disciplinary tea=
m investigating, through a range of theoretical methods, ionic liquids, an =
exciting class of solvents for catalysis and materials applications. The a=
vailable position will involve predominantly QM and QM/MM studies of ionic =
liquids as clusters and in the liquid phase.=20

You should have or be about to submit a PhD in Computational or Theoretical=
Chemistry, or in a related discipline such as Physical Chemistry, Material=
s, Chemical Engineering or Physics.
 =20
You will require specific experience and understanding of molecular liquids=
and QM/MM methods. You should be experienced with using unix/linux system=
s, and programming exerience will be an advantage. For additional informat=
ion please goto http://www.ch.ic.ac.uk/hunt/openings.html or contact Dr. Pa=
tricia Hunt (p.hunt -at-imperial.ac.uk).

Please complete and upload an application form at http://www.imperial.ac.uk=
/employment, providing a CV and list of publications. (Use job number NS20=
