<p><br/>
A post-doctoral research position is available with the Department of Physi=
cs at the Colorado School of Mines.&nbsp; We seek an individual with a back=
ground in computational electronic structure and quantum optics that can jo=
in a team of theorists and experimentalists investigating multi-exciton gen=
eration in quantum dots and rods.&nbsp; Applicants should have experience w=
ith high performance computing, DFT, GW theory and, ideally, nonlinear opti=
cs. The investigation is part of our recently funded National Science Found=
ation Renewable Energy Material Science and Engineering Center (REMRSEC, ht=
tp://remrsec.mines.edu/REMRSEC/Home.html) which is closely aligned with our=
 Golden Energy Computing Organization(GECO, http://geco.mines.edu/). The re=
search is in collaboration with our colleagues at the National Renewable En=
ergy Laboratory (NREL, http://www.nrel.gov/). Funding for this position is =
