Initial appointment, starting from April 2009, will be for one year and successful candidates may extend the appointment. The program involves a team of investigators at The University of Tokyo, Tottori University, Tokyo University of Technology and Nagoya University. The possible candidates are expected to have experience with electronic structure theory, computational materials science or computational mathematics. The post-doctoral work will be the large-scale electronic structure calculation applied to extended defects (in solids), electrolytic solutions and ionic liquids, development of large-scale linear algebraic algorithm and/or the generalization of our ELSES (Extra-Large Scale Electronic Structure calculation) program package.
