<p dir="ltr" >The ideal candidate should have a PhD in computational material science (chemistry, physics or related engineering areas). He/She should have experience and interest in simulations of bulk and transport properties of materials, a background in ab-initio or classical molecular dynamics simulation methods, as well as knowledge of force field assessment and development. Experience with high performance computing is desired. The candidate will work with a top team of computational and experimental material scientists to investigate the chemical physical processes associated to dielectric breakdown in silicone rubbers.</p>

<p dir="ltr" >This research plan is part of a collaboration between the IBM Zurich Research Laboratory (Rueschlikon, CH) and the ABB Corporate Research Center (Baden-Daettwil, CH) and is grounded both on method development and application of assessed atomistic simulation methods.</p>
