Candidate should have a good background in solid state physics or materials science, and extensive experience with electronic structure calculations. People involved in SISSA are Erio Tosatti, Michele Fabrizio, Andrea Dal Corso, Giuseppe E. Santoro . The position is for two years, and the take home yearly salary is 18,000 or 21,600 Euros, depending on seniority. SISSA also hosts the DEMOCRITOS INFM/CNR National Simulation Center (www.democritos.it) whose activities also involve most SISSA CM faculty members. Strong contacts exist with the Elettra Synchrotron Light Laboratory and the TASC Laboratory in the Basovizza Campus.
