<p>A postdoctoral position is available at the Computational Materials Science group at UFABC in Santo Andr&eacute;, SP, Brazil. This is a new Public University, located in the metropolitan region of S&atilde;o Paulo (ABC), and strongly focused in Science and Technology. The selected candidate is expected to have knowledge on <em>ab initio</em>, electronic structure methods, and a PhD in Condensed Matter Physics, Theoretical Chemistry or Materials Science. The group performs theoretical research on nanostructures, organic semiconductors and on the properties of defects in materials. <br/>
<br/>
Postdoctoral positions are for one year, renewable upon mutual agreement and funding availability. Salary is R$50.400,00 (brazilian Real) per year, free of taxes. The group has good computer facilities: access to supercomputing centers in Brazil (CENAPAD), and UFABC's own computing center composed of a 136-core ALTIX system and a 80-core Xeon cluster. UFABC has a very good scientific environment and the candidate will directly interact with graduate students, other postdocs and experimental researches.<br/>
